Dispatch Coordinator / Work Order Dispatcher
AMERICAS TECHNICIAN SERVICES is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Dispatch Coordinator to manage daily service operations. This role is critical to ensuring work orders are applied correctly, technicians are assigned efficiently, and all jobs are closed out accurately and on time.
MUST SPEAK ENGLISH VERY WELL (rated as a 8/10 with 10 being a native English speaker)
Key Responsibilities
Apply and manage incoming work orders from multiple platforms
Assign work orders to technicians based on availability, skillset, and location
Communicate clearly with technicians to confirm job details, schedules, and updates
Monitor job progress and ensure timely completion
Properly close out work orders with accurate notes, documentation, and status updates
Maintain organized records and follow dispatch procedures
Coordinate with management to resolve scheduling or service issues
Required Qualifications
Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written) – REQUIRED
Proven experience in dispatching, work order management, or service coordination
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Ability to work independently and manage high volumes of work orders
Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Reliable internet connection and availability during assigned hours
Preferred Skills (Plus but Not Required)
Experience dispatching field service technicians (IT, low voltage, telecom, HVAC, or similar)
Familiarity with work order systems and service platforms
Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure
