Proposal Outline Bluetooth RTIS
Overview
The project is to allow raising and lowering tire pressure for Jeeps and on/off
road vehicles from the cab while moving. Rather than a CTIS (Central Tire Inflation
System), the designation shall be RTIS (Remote Tire Inflation System).
Four lightweight wheel covers containing the batteries/compressor/control board andS
accessories shall be controlled by a wireless bluetooth system either with a dedicated
control/display box or app on a Android phone.
This proposal is specifically dedicated to developing the Bluetooth and hardware
design and functions, possibly using simple ESP32 boards.
Commands
Commands from the Bluetooth controller should include current tire pressure (psi),
target pressure, controls to start pump and start deflation solenoid, and battery
status.
Screen Design
Design is open, but probably 4 circles with current tire pressure in center of each circle
with additional values/controls surrounding/adjacent to them.
Options/Misc.
The best option for the type of controller, phone app or dedicated box, can be discussed.
Many air shock systems have almost identical controls.
We are testing 4 different compressors/battery units, primary running 7.4-8.3 volts and
second choices running 11.1 volts.
