I'm hiring a Remotion developer to build a personalized video generation pipeline. Two dynamic text fields animate in per render, and the system needs to batch-render at headless scale on a single Mac workstation.
The aesthetic direction:The first direction I want to prototype is VideoScribe-style whiteboard animation — hand-drawn marker strokes revealing text on an off-white board with subtle paper texture, real-feeling marker pressure, photorealistic hand overlay (not the cartoon glove that comes with most Remotion demos).
That said, whiteboard is the starting point, not the ending point. If you propose a different aesthetic that achieves the same effect — feels personal, hand-crafted, and makes someone stop on a short video addressed to them — I'm open to hearing it. Whiteboard is one of several ideas I plan to explore. We have to start somewhere, so this is where we're starting.
Output spec:
Four-beat sequence per video. Two beats are dynamic per render, two are static and pre-rendered as variant pools (3–5 each), then stitched via FFmpeg concat. Open to a better approach if you have one.
I do not expect you to have shipped whiteboard or hand-drawn animation in Remotion before. To my knowledge almost no one has, and this will likely be a first attempt at this specific aesthetic for whoever takes it on. What matters is that you can hit real production polish — VideoScribe-level, not Remotion-demo-default.
Paid prototype first as a qualification gate, then full build engagement after. All budgets welcome — let's negotiate based on your scope and approach. Please bid your full proposal.
