Project Overview
We are seeking native speakers based in Singapore or Malaysia to participate in a role-play audio data collection project.
The task involves simulating bank call-center conversations using provided scripts. All interactions are role-play only — no real banks or customers are involved.
Audio will be captured automatically through the client’s IVR system. Participants only need to place calls and follow the provided instructions.
Languages Required
Applicants must be native speakers of one or more of the following languages or dialects:
Malaysian Cantonese
What You’ll Do (Step-by-Step)
Review a short role-play script provided by the client
Naturally adapt the script to match local speaking style and dialect
Place a call to a designated Hong Kong phone number
Enter a unique IVR ID when prompted
Perform one role per call (either Agent or Customer)
Speak naturally, as if interacting with a real bank representative or customer
Pause briefly after completing the dialogue, then end the call
No manual audio recording or file uploads are required.
All recordings are captured automatically by the system.
Key Requirements
Native speaker currently residing in Singapore or Malaysia
Age range: 25–60 years
Clear pronunciation with a natural, conversational tone
Ability to role-play realistic bank call-center conversations
Comfortable adjusting AI-generated scripts to sound natural and local
Quiet recording environment with minimal background noise
Headphones are not permitted
