The deadline for the 5k is due by Thursday, August 21.
Regarding the plot, let me inform you, so we're on the same page, that for the 5k you are expected to write the events outlined in the Hook and Inciting Event. One chapter for the Hook and one for the Inciting Event. Within the summary you will find a bonus prologue, no need to get confused with it, it is written last as a "marketing" chapter we use outside of the core story to gain more readers.
Please also include mentions to the romance, appearance of the MMC and the things that the FMC is attracted to when she first sees him in her thoughts from the first encounter. We generally want to increase references to the attraction they feel for one another. At the beginning we want our males to be cold and gruff (even though through their actions we get to see that they are good people).
