Summary
We are looking for an experienced Scratch tutor to work with our 7-year-old daughter, who is already proficient in Scratch programming. The ideal candidate will serve as a supportive guide to help her realize her creative ideas while providing direction on more structured and complex projects. While we prefer a long-term arrangement, we are open to short-term commitments from exceptional candidates.
About the Student:

Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions in Scratch programming
- Support and encourage the student's creative ideas
- Guide the student through the process of bringing her ideas to life in Scratch
- Help strengthen foundational programming concepts while maintaining engagement
- Offer constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement
- Help with problem-solving and debugging
- Introduce more advanced Scratch concepts as appropriate
Requirements:
- Expert knowledge of Scratch programming
- Fluent in English (all communication will be in English)
- Patient and encouraging teaching style
- Ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms
- Flexible approach to accommodate the student's ideas and learning pace
Desired Qualities:
- Experience teaching Scratch to young children
- Ability to balance creative freedom with structured learning
- Experience helping students complete projects from start to finish
