We are looking for a talented and creative seamstress, tailor, or sewist to alter formal wear dresses using their experience and latest style trends. The ideal candidate will be organized, communicate ideas effectively to customers and managers, and be able to manage their own workload and schedule. The Seamstress will be a contracted worker for Wolsfelt's Prom and will be provided with the space, equipment, and supplies needed to alter all sorts of formal Special Occasion, Prom, Homecoming, and Quinceañera dresses!

Duties include:
Measure customers at each fitting appointment
Pin and alter garments to give customer the perfect fit
Price alterations according to estimated time and work needed for alteration
Steam and press altered garments for final pickup by customer
Repair in-store dresses with missing beads, broken zippers, etc.
Ensure quality of products produced
Maintain equipment and supplies
Maintain reliable schedule during Prom and Homecoming seasons

Skills:
Advanced dressmaking and alteration skills with formal wear, bridal wear, and/or other special occasion dresses
Creative, independent, and motivated individual with a strong attention to detail
Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and quality
Excellent organizational skills to meet deadlines
Good verbal and written communication skills in English (Spanish a plus!)
Ability to work as part of a team with minimal supervision from Management Team and Company Owners
