This Role in One Sentence

Turn competitor backlink lists into clean outreach campaigns—find contacts, send smart messages, track replies tightly, and keep decisions fast.

This is a long-term freelance outreach engagement managed through Guru.

Is This You?

  • You like tidy spreadsheets and clear notes more than big talk.
  • You follow up without getting weird about it.
  • You notice patterns fast (and write them down).
  • You try free or low-effort wins before you suggest spending money.
  • Ego low. Execution consistent. Details sharp.

How This Role Actually Works

This is simple work.

But it only works if you’re careful every day.

You’ll spend your time doing four things:

  • Build a daily outreach target list from competitor backlinks
  • Find the right contact method (email or form)
  • Send 1–3 message variations
  • Track everything so decisions stay quick and confident

Proposal Instructions (Video Required)

Apply with one Loom link (2–3 minutes, camera on).

Screenshare an example spreadsheet from previous outreach work.

Walk through:

  • How you tracked targets and follow-ups
  • How you structured your columns so nothing gets lost
  • How you’ve run outreach for backlink opportunities
  • What makes your outreach process effective?

We’re judging process and precision—not hype.

What You’ll Do (Daily)

  • Use Ahrefs (easy to learn) to review competitor backlinks
  • Create a daily outreach target list with clean notes
  • Find contact emails or contact forms for each site
  • Send 1–3 outreach variations and log what was sent
  • Track replies and outcomes clearly
  • Follow up consistently on schedule
  • Keep a simple spreadsheet that makes decisions easy.

You’re a Good Fit If

  • You keep clean records without being reminded
  • You’re comfortable emailing strangers and following up
  • You can summarize patterns like: “These 3 site types make up most opportunities”
  • You naturally test low-effort options first:
    • directories
    • AI tool listing sites
    • forums and comments (when appropriate)
    • open publishing platforms

You’re Not a Good Fit If

  • You need constant supervision to stay on track
  • You prefer slow, corporate-style work
  • You avoid outreach or dislike follow-ups
  • Your default solution is “let’s pay for it”

Contract Logistics

  • Remote
  • Timezone: any, but you must overlap 3–4 hours with Singapore time

If you’re consistent, detail-obsessed, and calm about outreach, apply.

Your Loom will do the talking.

Your spreadsheet will prove the work.

If you’re done waiting to be discovered and ready to quietly prove something to yourself, apply now.
