Development of a Cross-Platform Sleep Tracking and Sounds Mobile Application with Advanced Admin Panel
We are seeking an experienced freelance developer or development agency to build a high-quality sleep assistance (Sleep App) mobile application for both Android and iOS platforms. The project includes creating the complete mobile app (with sophisticated sleep tracker and extensive sleep sounds library with mixing features) plus a professional web-based admin panel for full content and app management.
**Project Overview**
The app must be built from scratch, including design, development, and all required features. It needs a premium, polished user interface with smooth animations and an excellent user experience.
Key Requirements – Please read carefully before bidding:
- Thoroughly review all project details, including any attached PDF with full specifications.
- Download, install, and test the reference apps from the Play Store links provided in the PDF. You must understand their features, UI/UX, and functionality in detail.
- Review any attached videos to understand the expected user flow, design, and experience.
Technology Stack:
- Mobile app: React Native or Flutter (for optimal cross-platform performance on Android and iOS).
Core Features:
- Sleep Sounds: You are responsible for providing a library of more than 260+ high-quality sleep sounds (similar in scope and variety to BetterSleep). Users should be able to mix multiple sounds, adjust individual volumes, save custom mixes, and set timers.
- Sleep Tracker: A highly accurate sleep tracking system (similar to leading apps like Best Sleep) that uses device sensors and AI to analyze sleep stages, duration, patterns, detect and record user sleep sounds, and display insightful graphs and statistics.
- Admin Panel: A modern, robust dashboard that provides complete control over app content, sounds, user data, analytics, settings, and operations. We suggest you launch the admin panel first as it controls and manages all content in app. Very little design work since 80% of what you see in app comes from admin panel content.
The design and code must follow industry best practices for performance, security, scalability, and clean architecture.
Reference Apps:
Sleep sounds and mixing features should match or exceed those in BetterSleep.
Sleep tracking features should align with high-accuracy trackers such as the Best Sleep app (links provided in the attached PDF).
Bidders must confirm they have installed, tested, and fully understood both reference apps.
Project Deliverables:
- Regular APK/IPA builds for review and testing during development.
- You must provide 24/7 accessible hosting staging environment for the admin panel and app backend (local emulators or restricted setups are not acceptable).
- Final deployment to our provided hosting/server environment upon completion.
- Submit to Playstore and App Store
- Full source code and documentation.
The entire project (mobile app + admin panel) must be delivered within 2 months.
Budget:
Fixed budget of $1,500 USD (non-negotiable), paid in 1 milestone through Guru.com upon successful delivery and verification of all features and completion of project. Escrow will only be funded through Guru.com once project is completed.
