Snr Joinery Draftsperson: Shop Drawings

Immediate start – 7 day turnaround required

We are seeking an experienced joinery / architectural draftsperson to prepare high-quality shop drawings for architect and client approval on a detailed residential project.

This is not CNC or manufacturing drawings — the focus is on clear, accurate, approval-grade shop drawings suitable for review by a design-led architect and a detail-oriented client.

If this project is delivered to expectation, there is ongoing drafting work available.


Current Project Scope
Residential joinery shop drawings based on architect-issued design intent drawings (attached), including:

Master Suite
Bedroom: low-line media drawer unit and full-height wall panelling behind TV
Wardrobe: open robe and shoe storage
Ensuite: vanity and shaving cabinet with adjacent open shelving

Guest Suite
Wardrobe
Ensuite: vanity and shaving cabinet


Deliverables
Joinery shop drawings for approval
Plans, elevations, key sections, and clear dimensions
Materials, finishes, grain direction and interfaces clearly noted
PDF format suitable for architect/client review
Revision control included
(DWG and/or Cabinet Vision files welcome if available, but not essential)


Software
AutoCAD, Vectorworks, SketchUp/Layout or similar accepted
Cabinet Vision experience is desirable but not required


Requirements
Proven experience producing residential joinery shop drawings for architect-led projects
Strong understanding of buildability, tolerances, scribes and junctions
Able to work from detailed architectural drawings and finishes schedules
Excellent attention to detail and presentation
Ability to meet a 7-day delivery timeframe
