Social Media Content Assistant

We’re looking for a reliable and responsive Social Media Content Assistant to help prepare social media content using Canva, with video editing experience highly regarded.

This role suits someone who is quick, organised, creative, and comfortable working to short timeframes.

Key details:

💰 $5 AUD per hour
⏰ Hours will vary week to week
⚡ Work needs to be completed as soon as you receive a message from us, so responsiveness is essential
📱 Fully remote role


Content you’ll prepare (not limited to):

Blog post graphics
Google review posts
Job advertisements
Carousel posts
General recruitment and hiring-related posts
Short-form video content for social media (editing, resizing, basic effects)


Scheduling posts across our social media platform




Video & caption experience (ideal but not mandatory):

Editing short videos for social platforms (e.g. reels / shorts)
Creating engaging captions
Making content feel fun, clear, and on-brand
Adding subtitles, trims, and simple transitions


What we’re looking for:

Strong Canva skills (carousel experience preferred)
Basic video editing skills (CapCut, Canva Video, or similar)
Ability to follow brand guidelines and templates
Fast turnaround times and strong communication
Reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented


This is a task-based role with flexible hours, ideal for someone looking for ongoing casual work with quick turnaround tasks.
