Sports Video Editor Needed

I’ve been filming my daughter (Finley) and her teammates playing for the Collingwood All Stars Under 9 Girls team. It’s their first season, and they’ve made it all the way to the finals!

I’ve got a bunch of amateur courtside footage (mostly wide shots) that I captured from the sidelines. I’m looking for a skilled video editor who can turn this raw footage into something the girls will love – a polished, ESPN-style highlight reel that feels like a proper season recap.

What I’m looking for:

A 5–6 minute edited video with:
Intro sequence introducing the players (names + maybe fun graphics).
Highlights organised by individual players (e.g., zoom, pause, spotlight moments).
Then highlights of group/team plays.
Use creative editing: zoom-ins, slow-mo, pauses, cool transitions, and possibly fun player features like arrows, circles, or name tags.
The goal: capture the excitement, energy, and joy of their first season, as if it were a mini ESPN/NBA season documentary.


What I’ll provide:

All raw video files (sideline footage).
Player names for the intro.
Notes on special plays or standout moments.


End result: A fun, high-quality highlight reel that the kids and parents can rewatch, share, and treasure.


Skills required:

Strong sports/highlight video editing experience.
Ability to work with amateur footage and make it look professional.
Creative flair to bring energy and personality into the edit.
