About the Role:
We work with a team of digital nomads who prefer not to carry their laptops everywhere. We’re looking for a reliable Technical Support Host to securely store and manage company laptops at your location. You’ll ensure the devices are powered, connected, and accessible remotely when needed.
Responsibilities:
✔ Host 2+ company laptops in a secure, stable location (e.g., home or office).
✔ Ensure laptops remain online, charged, and connected to the internet during working hours.
✔ Be reachable via phone/messaging during business hours for troubleshooting.
✔ Spend 1-2 hours/day checking connections, restarting devices if needed, and basic maintenance.
✔ Have a basic understanding of networking (Wi-Fi, troubleshooting connectivity).
✔ Maintain reliability and security—these are company devices with sensitive data.
Requirements:
✔ Reliable, tech-savvy, and responsive.
✔ Stable internet connection & power supply.
✔ Basic networking knowledge (can handle simple connectivity issues).
✔ Secure location to store laptops (safe from theft/damage).
Pay & Growth:
✔ $150 - $200 per laptop/month (starting with 2 laptops = $300 - $500/month).
✔ Opportunity to host more laptops (increased pay) as you gain experience.
