Technical Writer

As a Technical Writer/Reviewer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, clarity, and effectiveness of educational content. Your primary responsibility will be to create, review, and enhance instructional materials, including manuals, guides, tutorials, and assessments, aimed at facilitating online learning experiences. You will collaborate closely with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and multimedia specialists to produce high-quality content that meets the needs of learners across diverse backgrounds and learning styles.

Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation: Develop engaging and informative educational materials that align with curriculum objectives and learning outcomes.
Content Review: Conduct comprehensive reviews of existing content to identify areas for improvement in accuracy, clarity, and instructional effectiveness.
Documentation: Produce clear and concise documentation, including instructional guides, user manuals, and technical specifications, to support the implementation and use of e-learning platforms and tools.
Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and consistency of content by adhering to established standards, style guidelines, and best practices in technical writing and instructional design.
Collaboration: Collaborate with instructional designers, subject matter experts, multimedia specialists, and other stakeholders to gather information, clarify requirements, and incorporate feedback into content development and revision processes.
Research: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in e-learning and instructional design to inform content development strategies and enhance the quality of educational materials.
Accessibility: Ensure that educational materials are accessible to learners with diverse needs and abilities by following accessibility standards and guidelines.
Revision Management: Manage version control and document revisions using appropriate tools and systems to maintain accurate and up-to-date content.
Qualifications:

Proven experience in technical writing, instructional design, or content development, preferably in the e-learning industry.
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with attention to detail and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively.
Understanding of accessibility standards and guidelines for digital content is preferred.
