Job Summary



We are seeking a motivated, confident, and results-driven Cold Caller / Appointment Setter to join our roofing company’s marketing and sales team. This role is responsible for making outbound calls to homeowners and businesses, generating interest in our roofing services, and scheduling qualified appointments for our sales representatives. The ideal candidate is comfortable on the phone, has strong communication skills, and thrives in a performance-based environment.





Key Responsibilities



  • Make high-volume outbound calls to prospective customers using provided lead lists.
  • Introduce the company’s roofing services and identify customer needs.
  • Qualify prospects based on criteria such as roof age, condition, and interest in inspection or repair.
  • Schedule appointments for field sales representatives.
  • Maintain accurate records of calls, leads, and appointments using CRM software.
  • Follow scripts and guidelines while also adapting to customer conversations.
  • Meet or exceed weekly and monthly call and appointment goals.
  • Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.
  • Follow up with warm leads and re-engage past customers as needed.






Qualifications



  • Previous experience in cold calling, telemarketing, call centers, or sales preferred (but not required).
  • Roofing or home-services industry experience is a plus.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and a clear, friendly, and confident phone presence.
  • Ability to handle rejection and stay motivated.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn CRM systems.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and goal-oriented.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
