I want to create a Thinkscript that has a control panel for starting, stopping, and gathering user input. The first button is an open button with the text “O” and is as small as possible, located at the top left of the chart. The next button is for user input of the StochasticSlow indicator value. Next, there is user input for buy or sell (values 1 or 2). Then, there is a Start button that initiates the script, a Stop button that stops the script, and a Hide button that hides all but the open button.
Once the script is started, it walks continuously through the watchlist, and if Buy value = 1, then when MACD crosses over positively and StochasticSlow value is = or above the user input value on the stock in the watch list, the chart is opened, the Auto Trader panel is opened, and a label appears on the chart saying “buy”
Conversely, if buy or sell value =2, then if the MCAD crosses over negatively and the StochasticSlow value is = or below the user input value on the stock in the watch list, the chart is opened, the Auto Trader panel is opened, and a label appears on the chart saying “Sell”
The first benchmark is a working demo, and the completion is when the project is up and working on my machine. I prefer using Microsoft Teams, but am willing to accept other methods of remoting to my machine to install the project.
