Overview: One-time job with ongoing work potential
I wish to create a blog site for my travel writing where I can share entries about places I have visited using text and photos. I'm seeking someone to design and set up a WordPress template that showcases my work in an attractive way.
Scope of work
- Design a WordPress template suitable for travel blog entries. - Set up the site to accommodate variable lengths of text (30 to 2000 words) and captions (up to 150 words). - Ensure users can scroll through longer text and caption sections. - Integrate SEO for technical and on-page optimisation. - Allow space for future ad placements. - I already have a free-to-use image I'd like to use for my front-page.
Additional information
I require the ability to drop in text and pictures easily. The reason I want readers to scroll through longer text I don't want to overwhelm visitors who randomly click upon my page, nor make landing pages cluttered or text-dense in appearance. Background ghost image photos sitting behind text are a plus.
