Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled UI/UX Designer (“Guru level”) to design and deliver a fully functional, responsive online interface for our rebranded Wazo platform, Call Data Foundation. This platform is targeted at enterprise clients and API consumers, not SMBs, and must convey professionalism, simplicity, and scalability.

The deliverable is a production-ready front-end design system that covers all standard Wazo features plus our custom extensions, while adhering to a defined visual identity.

Will be branded as "Call Data Foundation" platform or variant of Call Data/Foundations(s).

Scope of Work

1. Core Deliverables

Responsive Web Interface:

  • Must function seamlessly across desktop, tablet, and mobile.

      • Fully compatible with major browsers (Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox).

UI Style & Branding:

  • Minimalist design aesthetic with limited but deliberate use of graphics (not graphic-heavy, but not zero).

  • Color scheme: Black, White, #58d613 (accent).

  • Consistent typography, spacing, and interaction patterns.

Standard VOIP Portal Functionality (aligned with Wazo platform):

  • Dashboard (call metrics, usage, quick actions).

  • Call history, voicemail management, recordings.

  • Contacts and directory.

  • Device provisioning screens.

  • User and account management (add/edit/remove users, roles, permissions).

  • Billing/account summary views.

  • Settings (SIP, trunking, routing, preferences).

Custom Modules (to be designed and integrated):

  • Custom Call Routing – advanced routing configuration and visualization.

  • Custom IVR Builder – drag-and-drop or form-driven builder for menus and prompts.

  • Custom Survey/Feedback Module – configuration and reporting for post-call surveys.

Enterprise User Support:

  • Role-based access control (admins, managers, agents).

  • Multi-account / multi-tenant layouts.

  • API key management / API usage overview screen.

2. Deliverable Artifacts

The designer must provide, at a minimum:

  • High-Fidelity Mockups / wireframes / Interactive Prototypes (Figma, Adobe XD, or equivalent).

  • Responsive HTML/CSS Templates (standards-compliant, production-ready).

  • UI Component Library: buttons, forms, modals, tables, tabs, alerts, menus.

  • Style Guide / Design System Document covering typography, color usage, components, states, and error handling.

  • Integration Guidelines: documentation to ensure seamless handoff to engineering (with callouts for API hooks and data placeholders).

3. Performance & Compliance Requirements

  • All designs must be lightweight and performant (fast load times, minimal blocking assets).

  • Must adhere to WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards (contrast, keyboard navigation, screen reader compatibility).

  • Must maintain cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.

  • Must meet enterprise-grade UX standards – clarity, low cognitive load, consistent layouts.

4. Acceptance Criteria

  • All deliverables must be reviewed and signed off against the scope listed above.

  • Designer must address two rounds of revisions at no extra cost.

  • Deliverables must be usable by engineering without redesign/rework.

  • If any element of scope is missing, incomplete, or non-functional, final payment may be withheld until delivery is corrected.

5. Exclusions

  • Designer cannot claim “mockups only” unless explicitly approved.

  • Deliverables limited to UI/UX only (not backend coding), but must be production-ready front-end templates.

  • Any deviation from defined branding/colors without written approval is unacceptable.

6. Qualifications

  • Proven track record of enterprise-grade SaaS or VOIP portal UI/UX design.

  • Strong portfolio with responsive web platforms, preferably telecom/communications/IT.

  • Familiarity with Wazo or Asterisk-based systems (preferred but not required).

  • Ability to produce clean, modular, developer-friendly front-end assets.

7. Timeline

  • Project kickoff: within 1 week of contract award.

  • First prototype delivery: within 3 weeks.

  • Final delivery (including revisions): within 6–8 weeks.
