π Web Hosting & Infrastructure Manager

About the Role
Weβre seeking a versatile, technically skilled Web Hosting & Infrastructure Manager to oversee and optimize our complete online ecosystem. This includes managing multiple hosting environments (shared, VPS, and cloud), configuring full-stack web services, and ensuring a unified, secure, and high-performance digital presence β from website uptime to email systems and office collaboration tools.
Responsibilities
Manage and maintain multiple hosting accounts, domains, and DNS configurations across several providers (e.g., GoDaddy, Namecheap, HostGator, Bluehost, DigitalOcean, Linode, AWS, etc.).
Set up and optimize VPS and shared hosting environments with LAMP/LEMP stacks, cPanel, or custom configurations.
Oversee web application deployment, SSL certificates, server monitoring, and automated backups.
Implement and maintain company email systems, including IMAP/SMTP setups or managed suites (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, or Zoho Mail).
Integrate and maintain an office suite (cloud productivity tools, file sharing, calendar sync, video conferencing).
Build and manage a central knowledge base or documentation system for internal use and public FAQs/support.
Ensure site security, including firewall management, DDoS protection, malware scans, and access control.
Collaborate with designers, developers, and content teams to support ongoing projects and website launches.
Troubleshoot hosting issues, performance bottlenecks, and email deliverability problems.
Stay updated on best practices in server performance, security, and DevOps automation.
Qualifications
4+ years of experience in web hosting or infrastructure management.
Proficiency with Linux server administration (Ubuntu, CentOS, or similar).
Strong understanding of DNS, Apache/Nginx, PHP, MySQL, and mail protocols.
Experience with control panels (cPanel/WHM, Plesk, DirectAdmin) and cloud dashboards (AWS Lightsail, DigitalOcean, etc.).
Familiarity with WordPress, Next.js, or other CMS/framework deployment pipelines.
Hands-on experience with backup solutions, SSL/TLS, and cron jobs.
Ability to implement single sign-on (SSO) and integrate productivity suites (e.g., Google Workspace or Microsoft 365).
Excellent documentation and communication skills.
Nice to Have
Experience with Docker, Git, or CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with Supabase, Redis, or similar backend tools.
Comfort managing multiple brands or multi-site infrastructures.
Experience setting up customer support portals or ticket systems.
