Web3 Chain Infra Engineer

Seeking an experienced infrastructure engineer to deploy, secure, and maintain validator nodes for a high-performance blockchain network. The role focuses on ensuring uptime, reliability, and scalability of validator operations across production and staging environments.


Key Responsibilities
Deploy and manage validator and sentry nodes across distributed environments.
Configure ledger synchronization and token accounting services.
Set up monitoring and alerting for validator performance, consensus participation, and on-chain metrics.
Harden server environments with network security, firewalls, and VPNs.
Integrate validator deployment with CI/CD workflows for automated updates and releases.
Maintain keys, backups, and upgrade procedures for validator operations.


Requirements
Strong background in Linux systems administration and Docker.
Experience running or supporting validator or node infrastructure for a blockchain protocol.
Familiarity with Prometheus/Grafana monitoring and alerting.
Proficiency with CI/CD systems (e.g., GitHub Actions) and infrastructure automation tools.
Understanding of networking, VPNs, and secure key management.


Preferred Skills
Experience with Solidity, smart contract testing frameworks (Hardhat/Foundry), or similar tools.
Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, GCP) or infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible).
Previous involvement with staking or validator ecosystems.
