seeking an experienced WhatsApp Bot Expert to join our team. This role is focused on building and enhancing a WhatsApp bot with integrated e-commerce features and a forwarder module for internal communication and operations. The forwarder module is designed to facilitate smooth handoffs of tasks, orders, or information between teams or other phone numbers (partners, agents, departments). You will be working directly with Meta's WhatsApp Business API to create an advanced, end-to-end WhatsApp experience that includes seamless e-commerce functionalities and streamlined internal workflows.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building WhatsApp bots that manage both customer-facing e-commerce and internal processes, all integrated within a cohesive system.
Key Responsibilities:
WhatsApp E-commerce Development:
Build comprehensive e-commerce functionalities within the WhatsApp bot, enabling customers to browse products, make purchases, and track orders seamlessly.
Develop workflows that handle product browsing, adding to cart, payment processing, order confirmation, and customer support interactions directly within WhatsApp.
Integrate payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal, etc.) to securely process payments through the WhatsApp platform.
Design personalized shopping experiences such as product recommendations, special offers, and promotions within the WhatsApp bot interface.
Forwarder Module Development:
Develop the forwarder module to manage internal workflows by routing tasks, orders, or information between different teams, phone numbers, or external agents. This module enables efficient coordination and collaboration within the organization.
Set up automated handoffs for order processing, customer inquiries, or support tickets between different agents or departments.
Ensure that the forwarder module supports multi-agent or multi-department communication, allowing team members to take over tasks from one another as needed.
Meta API Integration & Management:
Utilize the Meta WhatsApp Business API to build robust workflows for both customer-facing e-commerce and internal operational processes.
Manage API limits, templates, webhooks, and messaging limits to optimize bot performance and ensure smooth, real-time interactions.
Design and develop automated chatbot flows that guide users through both e-commerce and internal tasks (order processing, team handoffs, etc.).
Dashboard & Admin Interface Enhancement:
Improve and optimize the admin dashboard for better product management, order processing, and team coordination.
Develop reporting and analytics features that give admins a clear overview of e-commerce transactions, internal task handling, team performance, and order status.
Create an intuitive interface for managing team workflows, internal communications, and customer service activities via WhatsApp.
Testing & Optimization:
Test and validate both customer-facing and internal workflows to ensure high performance, usability, and efficiency.
Continuously monitor the system’s performance, identify potential bottlenecks, and optimize e-commerce processes, as well as internal communication flows.
Requirements:
Proven experience in building WhatsApp bots using Meta WhatsApp Business API, with expertise in both customer-facing e-commerce functionalities and internal task management systems (like the forwarder module).
Strong portfolio or live examples of WhatsApp bots that include both e-commerce and forwarding capabilities for internal teams or agents.
Proficiency in Python, Node.js, JavaScript, or similar languages used for bot development.
Hands-on experience with payment gateway integrations (Stripe, PayPal) and secure transactions on WhatsApp.
Familiarity with WhatsApp Business API features, including templates, webhooks, and messaging limits.
Ability to build custom workflows for order management, team coordination, and internal communications via WhatsApp.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, especially around workflow automation and multi-agent task management.
