I am looking for an experienced freelancer to help draft a neutral, policy-compliant Wikipedia article for a public-facing entrepreneur and author.
This project is for drafting, source review, and Wikipedia compliance support only. No guarantee of publication is requested or expected.
The freelancer must comply with all applicable Wikipedia policies, including Wikipedia’s Disclosure Policy.
Requirements:
- Experience drafting Wikipedia articles in a neutral, encyclopedic tone
- Strong understanding of notability, reliable sourcing, and conflict-of-interest rules
- Ability to provide examples of Wikipedia drafts or live pages previously worked on
Important compliance requirements:
- The freelancer must reveal the Wikipedia profile/username being used to create and/or edit the Wikipedia page
- If any edits are made on Wikipedia, the freelancer must add a section to the associated Wikipedia Talk page listing:
1. The freelancer’s Wikipedia username/profile used to create/edit the page
2. That the freelancer was hired to create/edit the page
3. That the freelancer was paid to make the edits
Scope of work:
- Review available public sources
- Assess notability and source strength
- Draft a neutral Wikipedia-style article
- Advise on whether the draft is strong enough for submission
- If appropriate, support submission through the correct Wikipedia process
