Job description—Water damage claim against insurance on a very expensive home. Legitimate repair cost is $1M+ and insurance adjuster wrote $100K+. Need someone who is proficient in Xactimate who knows how to go deep into line item descriptions given in Xactimate and show comparative materials and labor in this house to document real cost to repair. Will possibly require a trip to Sarasota, FL to meet with homeowners adjuster and contractor in June but most likely can be done remotely. Homeowner’s adjuster (me) is 30-year experienced adjuster but retired and no longer leases or uses Xactimate, hence the need for a current experienced user.
