I am a  UK native, MSc graduate from the London School of Economics. I studied Social Policy which enabled me to develop strong research and writing skills across a range of disciplines. I have extensive experience writing academic papers which has resulted in work being published in health care journals. Furthermore, I have a BSc from the University of Lincoln which equipped me with the tools to take on new and ongoing challenges within the sector. My education background has also developed my critical thinking and problem solving skills where I am now able to handle complex problems and find the most appropriate solution which has proved as an asset throughout my life. Professionally I have worked within local government and charity sectors. My roles have involved conducting and undertaking social research to help improve services. For example, I was responsible for carrying out a project where I analysed current policies and procedures within the department and identified the weaknesses of this approach. I wrote a concise report outlining the current problems and the cost inefficiencies. I then proposed solutions which resulted in significant cost savings across the department. As a result, I was praised by my senior managers and asked to lead on future projects.
