D'Ontae joined the Google's Global Hardware and Infrastructure Team (gHIT) in 2013 and is the Global Process Manager for Network Equipment Accounting. In his role D'Ontae is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate closing of the books as they relate to Google Networking Equipment for the North America region. Once the books are closed D'Ontae spends his time ensuring that the accounting processes are efficient, automated, and scalable for all global entities. D'Ontae graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelors in Accounting in 2008. While completing his studies at Texas Tech he was chosen as PwC eXceed Scholar which allowed him to do two internships with the firm. After graduation, D'Ontae went joined PwC's Master Limited Partnership group as a Tax Associate. During his time at PwC he was involved in a variety of MLP transactions including mergers, formations, and conversions. Due to the proprietary system used at PwC he also picked up database and programming skills. In 2012, in pursuit of better work-life balance and a new challenge D'Ontae joined the McAfee (an Intel Company) Revenue team where he managed all aspects Contra Revenue related to Rebates, Marketing Development Funds, and other marketing initiatives. While at McAfee D'Ontae spent a lot of time driving process improvement initiatives that helped to close the books in a accurate and efficient manner.
