Accurate & Quality Transcription

$20/hr Starting at $25

Will reply asap - 90 wpm & presentable transcripts are my specialty. I've previously transcribed topics such as marketing, spirituality, nutrition, dissertations, and self help, but I love to be immersed in new topics to listen to! I'm often contacted to transcribe audios for personal memoirs or for books - is this you? Great! I love listening and learning as I put great effort into making a typed-up transcript to fit your needs. I have four different styles of transcription: Verbatim, Near Verbatim, Presentable, Summary. Please don't hesitate to ask me to explain to the fullest extent of these options, but here is a brief description: Verbatim is mostly used for legal transcriptions - includes false starts, filler words, stuttering, etc. Near Verbatim is what most clients want, it excludes stuttering, false starts, and filler words etc. For Presentable - all the same intent of the original speaker(s) is retained, but word order may be changed, filler words omitted, and repeated sentences omitted – including indirect references to information already spoken about – all at my discretion. Summary is good for finding the key notes from dictation, meetings, presentations, classes, etc. All four transcription styles have different costs associated with the effort it will take. Verbatim takes the most effort, and Summary takes the least. I will transcribe a minute of your audio for free if you would like a sample of my ability or transcribing style, and if you want anything specific (such as document format, multiple speaker format, no contractions, or style of transcription), I will be sure to work to your needs. If you have a specific template, I will also transcribe within it, as well as any instructions. All further editing of formatting is free, and we can try many to see how you like it!
