I am hard working and very accurate in my work. I always submit work on time and to the a high standard. I have worked in different roles, most with little supervision. When I worked for Family Info Link, I was working quite independently completing a project of updating a collection of contacts. When I worked at Birmingham Womens Hospital, I worked in my own office; and would only check with my supervisor when I was unsure of what to do. In my current role, we are as a team closely monitored when on switchboard, due to the high level of calls we receive, and the demanding workload, but still are expected to carry out our own tasks competently without a great deal of supervision.
One of the skills I gained when I worked through agencies as a temp worker was adapting quickly to new working situations and catering to the business needs of the organisation. Also in my current job, the team that I worked with has recently merged with another team, and the amalgamation of the new team, such as combining each workers' skills has been an easier transformation than originally anticipated.
Having completed a degree at University, it has helped me maintain a way of prioritizing my work, which is transferable to the work environment. For example, my dissertation which was completed over the course of a year, I had to ensure I was meeting the deadline for each section set.
