I have 2 years of professional experience in architectural designing, drafting, photorendering and preparing presentations. I am an expert in ArchiCAD and Lumion, employing Photoshop for architectural post-production. I also use Autodesk Revit in 3D drafting and SketchUp in 3D modelling. I am a graduate of B. Architectural Studies and did a multi-modal transport terminus for my final project. I am currently pursuing B. Architecture (Kenyan version of Professional Masters in Architecture) and working on a thesis titled "BIMing Green: Employment of Building Information Modelling in Sustainable Design". I am a graduate of BIM Africa with expertise on BIM Modeling and Management with an understanding of the Autodesk suite and its BIM capabilities. I have hosted a 3-day BIM seminar in Technical University of Kenya themed, "BIMing into the Future". I have worked under a LEED-AP on architectural sustainability design documenting One Place Africa (a 22-floor skyscraper in Nairobi) for bronze certification. Though with an intermediate experience in green sustainability design, I can offer expert opinion and advice on the same. I do technical writing and content development having worked as a Research and Advocacy assistant for Architectural Association of Kenya. This includes generating, editing, proofreading and formatting content for research documents, magazines and newsletters and blog articles. I have excellent reading, writing and communication skills. I have an average of 60 words per minute typing speed with a keen eye for detail, accuracy and neatness. I prepare comprehensive reports for all my projects with additional proposals and recommendations. I respect my client's, and my own, time, and adhere strictly to deadlines. I give honest and consistent feedback on both quantity and quality of work, keeping the client abreast on my work progress. I seek clarification to ensure the scope and intention of the project is well understood, do quick adjustments and corrections when needed, give extra advice on usability of the spaces beyond the material and spatial concerns, and conduct any data analysis on Ms Excel.
