I am a former tool and die maker/cnc programmer,operator. Who was forced to "retire" due to being diagnosed with multiple sclorosis. Luckily I was dragged, kicking and screaming into the computer age by a former supervisor. I was origionally hired as a tool and die maker,however as a condition of my employment. I was required to learn how to program CNC machining centers. Both from a PC, and from the console at the machine. I was trained on the old Designcad software. I now use Autocad 2007 LT,as well as Solidedge 3D. And still can use Designcad for some applications such as CNC programming. I have design/manufacturing experiance with plastic injection molds, robotics, metal stamping dies. As well as general experiance in designing/manufacturing electric motor mounts,fixtures,jigs, workholding devices,ect.
