I am graduating from Texas A&M University in August with a degree in English. Some of the most important classes I took, however, were in journalism and included Editing for Mass Media and Feature Writing for Magazines. These courses taught me to be proficient in AP Style and how to write relevant, eye-catching articles. My specialty is writing articles and have written for multiple publications over a variety of topics including health tips, local events and wedding trends. I consider myself highly adaptable and am able to gather information to produce a thoughtful and engaging article over most any topic. I also have some experience in writing content to promote companies and organizations through Twitter as well as putting together email campaigns through MailChimp. Something I don’t have as much experience in, but am greatly interested in getting into is proofreading and writing reviews for novels, short stories, and e-books. I am an avid reader with a love for books, especially literary fiction along with mystery and adventure novels. My rates for this type of work can be flexible so don’t hesitate to ask!
