As a freelance journalist for over 15 years, I have learnt to work fast, accurately and intelligently. My strongest points are my ability to grasp situations and translate them into words. Whether it is a press release, an article for a newspaper or a document that needs to be edited, or a project tht needs documentation, experience has taught me what no high-profile journalism course can teach in a hurry! My topics of interest are NGOs (non government organisations or social welfare organisations), books, profiles of positive people, design and architecture. As a creative writer, I've won several national-level fiction prizes, have taught creative writing and journalism to school children in over 80 schools through the Newspaper in Education programme, and I enjoy all the things I'm learning through my diverse set of activities. I assume that the joy shows in my work too!
