My name is Raphaël Valensi, I am a sound engineer with extensive industry experience and formal training in live sound and audio production. I am a native French speaker from Paris, and I have lived abroad over the last 12 years in Italy, Germany and China. In addition to French I am fluent in Italian, and English and I am at an intermediate level of spoken Chinese and Spanish. For the last 2 years I have been working as a full time Project Sound Engineer with international AV Company, Creative Technology, in the Shanghai office. This has given me the opportunity to work with a variety of international clients, including Disney, Porsche, Apple Music, Burberry and Microsoft. My experience as an international sound engineer in China has helped develop my skills from PA design to warehouse preparation; as well as onsite audio set up and operation. I have travelled extensively within China for multi-city road shows and have worked in a diverse range of venues, from wooden and comfortable concert halls to metallic convention centres.
