My craft is recording. I approach my work with respect for my clients' time. Before any mics are pointed i do what comes naturally, listen. Once on the same wave length and with details being crystal i begin to plan an efficient and workable schedule. Having been in the business for 9 years i honed my skills to meet the demanding and competitive market. After finishing an internship at Axidentally on Purpose in Chicago i opened the doors to my City Studios Co. Never being quite satisfied i look for new challenges and learning opportunities in the recording arts. Long gone are the days of lo-fi punk rock recording, mixing and production work. These days i spend my time in the field recording nature, high altitude/extreme sports, designing soundscapes for VR and games and producing podcasts. I consider myself a historian of sorts and music has always been about communication first.
