I was enlisted in the Kenya Air Force in 1980 as a soldier. One year later I trained as an Air Traffic Controller Assistant both in the military institutions and at the East African School of Aviation,Nairobi Kenya. In 1986, I trained as an Aeronautical Information Services Officer, (whose duties are planning and monitoring of Air Traffic movement, and dissemination of useful information to pilots) at the East African School of Aviation,Kenya. I was then posted to the Kenya Air Force Air Traffic Services School(Moi Air Base-Eastleigh) as Instructor. I was promoted to the rank of Senior Seagent and appointed ATC General Instructor. In 2000, I was promoted to the rank of Warrant Officer Class II and posted to the Kenya Armed Forces Technical College (KAFTEC) Embakasi (Kenya), as aviation safety instructor, teaching Aviation Regulations and Safety. In 2011 I trained in Aviation Security Management at the East African School of Aviation, Kenya. I retires from the military service with the rank of Warrant Officer Class I last October and feel am still fit and willing to deliver services in relation to my former line of duty.
