I am a published writer. I have written for News channel blogs and bi-monthly local regional magazines. I am a graduate from Indiana University with a Bachelor's degree. My concentrations are in Humanities and Social Science. I have been a social worker for nonprofits for approximately 20 years. I write feature articles, which is my specialty. I like creative writing and can brings words to life. I live by the basic writing rule, " write what you know". What I know is family. I have case managed families, worked with foster kids, worked with families in prison and worked in the mental health fields. But the most important family is my own. So I take my experiences in my personal life and my professional life and I incorporate this knowledge in my writing.
