US President Joe Biden said that his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, has no intention of stopping "this brutal war" against Ukraine, during a press conference with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the White HouseBiden described what Putin is doing as "horrific", as he "targets orphanages and schools" in Ukraine.
Biden continued, addressing Zelensky: "You are open to seeking a just peace, but Putin has no intention of stopping this brutal war."
Biden stressed that he was confident that the Western alliance "will remain united behind Ukraine."
