After spending a number of years reading and evaluating fellow Writers Guild members’ screenplays, I tried my hand at editing books. After all, screenwriters often pen novels, and vice versa. So when I was given the opportunity to edit a few novels, and even a nonfiction book about developing apps – of all things, I jumped at the chance to hone a new skill. My talent lies in understanding a story’s underlying structure, the theme and the main character’s arc. I will edit your story, your words with an eye on plot, characterization, conflict, resolution, and setting, all while retaining your tone, style and voice.
