Proofreading/Copy Editing - is a general term for text editing encompassing mechanics like spelling, grammar, and punctuation. My rate is USD29 per 1000 words, i.e., USD0.029 per word.

Developmental Editing - is a thorough and in-depth edit of your entire manuscript. It examines all the elements of your writing, from single words and the phrasing of individual sentences to overall structure and style. In addition, it can address plot holes or gaps, problematic characterization, and other existing material. A manuscript can change substantially after a round of developmental editing — also called structural or substantive editing. My rate is USD39 per 1000 words, i.e., USD0.039 per word.

Line Editing - is a more in-depth version of copy editing focusing on style. My rate is USD49 per 1000 words, i.e., USD0,049 per word.

(Optional, for an additional cost of USD200) We can address the following to determine your book manuscript's credibility together.

1. Which narrative and plot structure was used?

2. Who is/are the main character(s), and what do they want?

3. What are the characters' relationships like, and what obstacles must the main characters encounter and overcome to get what they want?

4. In the end, do the main characters get what they want? Is it good or bad for them if they did or did not? (Related: did they get what they need)?

5. Why should your reader/viewer demographics care? What makes us want to continue reading?

6. What do the main characters need? How does that differ from what they want when we first introduce them?

7. Why now? Why is this happening to the characters at this moment? What event, what conditions exist today for this story to take place?

8. Why not yesterday or next year?

9. What are the main characters' wounds/aches? What are the flaws of the main characters? What is the jeopardy? The danger? The price?

10. What do the characters fear most? What shuts them down emotionally? What breaks them into a sweat?

11. Do you have a satisfying ending? Not happy, not sad, etc., but a satisfying conclusion.
