Successful research is first knowing how to search for and where to find relevant information and data and, second, sifting through that information and data to find the trends and insights to support a client's objectives. From 2011 through 2023, I did just that. I organized, researched, wrote and managed independent of supervision more than 3,000 reports for The MediaCenter/Media Group Online. These included approximately 150 reports annually each on a different retail vertical; a monthly automotive industry report; a monthly digital media/technology report; monthly, long-form special reports on marketing, advertising, media, consumer, retail and technology trends; a bi-monthly sales management report; and curator of pertinent news stories and sales training materials added to the MGO website weekly.
I also apply my extensive experience as a researcher for my monthly assignments from Editor & Publisher magazine, for which I've been writing for 5 1/2 years. I receive very positive feedback about the articles from interviewees, and they often comment on the excellence of my questions. My research skills allow me to read other articles about the same topic, organizations or news/media leader and then craft questions that reveal more about the subject.
These are only two of many examples of how used my well-developed skills for hundreds of clients.
