Brooklyn Beckham gets key advice at wedd

$25/hr Starting at $25

Brooklyn Beckham married Nicola Peltz in the celebrity wedding of the year at the weekend – before sealing the deal with a dance to Elvis classic Can’t Help Falling In Love.

A-Listers at the £3million do included proud parents David and Victoria, their pal Gordon Ramsay, tennis star Serena Williams and actress Eva Longoria.

Victoria’s former Spice Girls bandmates Mel B and Mel C were there too, but Geri Horner and Emma Bunton were unable to make it to Florida.

The first dance song – belted out by a singer – was perfect for Brooklyn, 23, and Nicola, 27, who became pals in 2017, but didn’t begin dating until late 2019. It starts: “Wise men say Only fools rush in”.

Nicola – who wore a Valentino gown – had admitted being “terrified” of strutting her stuff, saying: “I can’t dance.” But the nerves vanished as they hit the floor.

Guests, fuelled by Bollinger champagne at £200 a bottle, then joined in as Fat Tony – DJ at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle ’s wedding – lined up hits including Ben E. King’s Stand By Me.

The ceremony, at Nicola’s billionaire parents’ £71million estate in Palm Beach, was overseen by a rabbi, beneath a flower-garlanded chuppah to honour Nicola’s Jewish heritage.

As per tradition, Brooklyn smashed a glass wrapped in a napkin under his heel – and the pair shared a six-second kiss as they were pronounced man and wife.

Brooklyn’s siblings family played a key role, with sister Harper, 10, a bridesmaid and his brothers, Romeo, 19, and Cruz, 17, acting as joint best men.

Nicola – one of six siblings – selected her brother Brad as “man of honour”, and her grandmother, known affectionately as Bunny, as maid of honour.

Despite their devotion to each other, Brooklyn and Nicola are understood to have signed a pre-nup to protect their families’ vast fortunes.

The Beckhams are estimated to be worth £343million, while Nicola’s parents – American property mogul and investor Nelson Peltz, 69, and former model Claudia Heffner Peltz, 67 – have a £1.2billion fortune.

Former footballer David welcomed “amazing” Nicola to the Beckham clan saying: “We are excited that you’ll be part of the family.”

And guests chuckled as Brooklyn was advised: “Happy wife, happy life.” Among the other highlights of the lavish day was a menu, created by former US president Bill Clinton’s chef, Thierry Isambert.

It included “light options” for those counting calories, and vegan dishes.

To help it go down the Peltz family spent £50,000 on rare orchids for the tables, while full diners could relax in chairs from Chelsea Clinton’s wedding supplier Pablo Oliveira.

At the time they shared emotional social media posts, including Nicola gushing: “I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life by your side.”

Brooklyn wrote: “Your love is the most precious gift. I love you so so much baby.”

In return, Brooklyn wrote: “Your love is the most precious gift. I love you so so much baby.”
