I am a UK Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) with 20+ years of Post Qualification experience. I also hold a Corporate Treasury Qualification (AMCT-UK) and a Diploma in IFRS. I have worked with Large Multinational Companies, SME’s as well as small companies as Business Transformation/ Financial Consultant roles. My work involved evaluation of new business opportunities within the same industry segment, assessment and improvements to existing portfolio of services and to provide extensive Business Plans and Balance Sheet valuations to Banks for Facilities, Short term as well as Asset Finance. In this role, investment evaluation requires in depth understanding of cost structure behavior and sensitivities. In addition to the competition, economic climate, own capabilities and a risk appetite. In addition, considerable time was spent on feasibilities studies of new ventures and financial planning and analysis of existing lines of business. I have also undertaken implementation of ERP Systems, introduced measures to enhance finance functionalities, specifically MIS Reporting and effective and efficient processing of information. I have been continuously involved with Transformation/Change management leading Finance transformation and streamlining Processes (ERP – ORACLE) covering Finance, Supply Chain, HR; Business Process restructuring and automation (Mckinsey, Booz Allen), Centralization and Outsource Projects. I have handled all aspects of the Finance function, from developing and implementing Revenue Assurance to preparation and review of Statutory Financial Statements. I am a result oriented person where my success can be attributed to my Positive Thinking, ability to develop a Team Culture and excellent Communication Skills. I am able to converse in Arabic and French in addition to excellent command over English. I have demonstrated that with the right Planning execution can be less painful.
