I am an individual that has been involved in agriculture from the research, marketing, through to general management and MD. I have an MBA as well as a Soil Science and Horticulture Honors degree. I am an Afrikaans and English speaking individual that has been a freelance business consultant to the GIZ as well as done extensive internet research for companies trying to establish the potential of their business ventures. I have also been involved in setting up incubation projects in South Africa with specific reference to clothing manufacturing and the fashion industry. I have further been involved in small scale farming and development of sustainable scenarios for entities involved in supplying fresh produce world wide from South Africa. I have drafted various business plans that were successful in obtaining funding for their projects. I am also currently assisting two groups of students in micro, macro economics as well as statistics. This came about due to the strikes and ongoing disruption of classes here in South Africa. I started of as agricultural research assistant, agricultural development officer, regional technical advisor, national research and development manager, national marketing manager, general manager, product manager, product manager, regional procurement manager, head of citrus procurement, managing director for 2 companies, freelancer.
