I am a highly accomplished management executive with more than 15 years of experience in global procurement, spend management, optimizing supply chain networks and management consulting I have a Master’s degree in Business Administration (specializing in Marketing) from S P Jain, Singapore and University of New South Wales, Australia, and a first class Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Mumbai University, India. I also have a Diploma in Marine Purchasing and Supply Chain from IMPA (International Marine Purchasing Association) & North West Kent College UK with an achievement award of “Graduate of the Year”. In addition I have a certificate in International Purchasing and Supply Chain from WTO, Geneva and Diploma in Import Export from Indian Merchant Chamber of Commerce. I speak at various conferences globally on a wide gamut of topics pertaining to Procurement and Supply Chain .My recent one has been at Smart Procurement, Singapore where I was the speaker and panelist speaking about the future of Maritime procurement. I am also a guest lecturer for master courses in supply chain and procurement and also write quite regularly for various international trade magazines. My theory on value chain optimization in the marine procurement field is a trendsetter. My vision in bringing marine procurement and supply chain function at par with other industries like automobile and aerospace industry has led to various companies endorsing my supply chain optimizing model. Apart from my regular role of heading a global procurement team, I provide consultancy to various organizations and shares intellectual insights on procurement and supply chain related matters.
