lightings, security lightings, drapery hardware, bathroom interior design etc.
● Maintained regular correspondence with our factory in Shanghai and Ningbo, China by
adjusting/updating designs per tooling specifications. Created designs for rapid prototypes by
utilizing the STL process, 3-D printing and CNC prototyping. Directed engineering personnel in
China.
● Employed Pro/E Reverse Engineering and ISDX to convert Polygon Meshes or STL files of
third party software such as Geomagic Freeform Surfacing to Nurbs Surfacing suitable for
mass production and for the design of tooling , injection molding and CNC prototyping.
● Designed product display boards, dividers, collapsible stands, racks , etc., for major retailers
such as Lowes, Home Depot, Macy’s, Sears, Marshalls, Kohls, Bed Bath and Beyond, Linen
and Things
● Approved the final AutoCAD manufacturing and packaging drawing layouts.
● Engineered components for manufacturing with injection molding, plating and
finishing,(painting), process, and cost effective materials such as ABS and PC plastics,
aluminum, zinc and resin.
● Engineered for motorized drapery and controls. Engineered and patented EROD first ever
telescopic motorized drapery unit. Implemented integration of apps into the motor controllers.
● Performed life testing, analysis and troubleshooting of the motorized drapery rods.
