I am a fully qualified time served Mechanical Design/CADCAM Engineer with over 20 years’ experience, both on the shop floor and in a management role as a machine shop supervisor. My professional career focused primarily on Mechanical 3D Design, CNC machining and mechanical maintenance within the Automotive, Aerospace, Nuclear, Oil, Gas and Marine industries sector. I am mechanically minded with a keen eye for detail, and a vast knowledge in mechanical problem solving solutions. I always work to the best of my ability with a can do and open minded attitude Due to my extensive experience as a CNC Machinist/ Programmer in milling and turning, I can produce complex multi-axis CNC Programmes using Mastercam and OneCNC software, also programming by hand for a range of different CNC Formats, the foremost being Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain and XYZ Prototrek. I have a vast knowledge of GD&T both from my machining and designing experience.
