Art

Art is an activity or creation by people that has importance because of an attraction to the human senses.

Creative activity resulting in the production of paintings, drawings, or

sculpture. ✰ A skill at doing a specified thing, typically one acquired through practice.

Craft

An activity involving skill in making things by hand.

A craft is an activity such as weaving carving, or pottery that involves

making things skillfully by hand, often in a traditional way. A craft is also a vehicle such as a boat, hovercraft, or submarine that

carries people or things on or under water. People who perform a particular kind of skilled work; "he represented the

craft of brewers"; "as they say in the trade".

Calligraphy

Decorative handwriting or handwritten lettering

Calligraphy is the art of writing script in such a way as to express the

beauty of what is being written in the formation of the letters themselves.

Difference between Art and Craft

Art is a form of work that expresses emotions and expressions. Craft is a form of work, which has a physical form just like in molding and carving While Craft is quantified, Art seldom is.

One can create duplicate craft forms, which is not possible with art. Art forms move people emotionally, whereas crafts attract people.

Unlike craft, art is known to come out of the heart and soul Crafts are a product of the mind.

In art, it is the emotions that flow out whereas in craff no emotion is involved.

Art comes out from a person's innate talents whereas craft is the result of experience.
