TheLoanPost is a web based, document preparation software for loss mitigation including mortgage loan modification, short sale, foreclosure, debt validation, credit repair, and student loan modification. The software is being run as an online service. When the client wanted to develop the software as multi-user system, to give his clients a 360-degree view of all customers to all users (borrowers, prospects, and active client files), CIT, came up with an OOPS-based software design using the well known MVC architecture. Based on this object oriented design, TheLoanPost web application was developed using PHP 5.x, MySQL 5.x, GD library, CURL, AJAX, SOAP, HTTP-Tunnelling, and Image Processing scripts, on a LAMP stack.
