My name is Hingis Yim. I am a painter, major in painting (oil/ acrylic/ pastel/ ink) based in Southampton, England. I completed my MA Fine Art with commendation in Northumbria University, UK 2010. Painting is my way of translating the relationships of form, light and colours into a new visual experience. As a landscape painter, my paintings are not about representing a place as it really is, but more a feeling of being in that place. Artwork is a blend of artist’s feeling and the reality. Artist blends the feelings, abstract and reality in artwork. Life without art is same as cooking without any spices.Original paintings are the wonderful gifts for Weddings, Birthdays, Retirement and Leaving presents. I welcome art commissions of any kind.
