During my career I have been involved in Sales and Marketing, Publishing, Editing, Copywriting, Proof Reading, Exhibition Organizing and Accounting using the Pastel Accounting System. My main focus in sales and marketing was in the automotive industry selling automotive components. I went into publishing of automotive trade magazines and then moved to publishing magazines in food, packaging, pharmaceutical and later in the consumer sector. During my time in publishing I edited magazines, wrote articles and proof read before printing. Later, having my own business I used Pastel Accounting and can capture data on Pastel up to trial balance. I also have extensive experience in Microsoft Excel. I am an artist and have used my talent to design logos, brochures, pamphlets, product catalogues and magazines, I have a website to sell prints of my oil paintings and pencil drawings of South African wildlife.
