I struggled to understand Camtasia Studio 8 years ago when I started using it for my job. I needed to create self-study courses for software training and eventually I learned how to do that efficiently and creatively. It is still the major part of my fulltime job, as well as something I do in my online service business. With 30+ years of training experience, I know how to teach in a way that helps people understand the important concepts they need to learn. I believe in getting a client actively involved in working with the software as quickly as possible, not boring them with lectures first. But I also know it's important to keep improving your skills and to not get into bad habits that will make your video editing work take longer than necessary.
